Karavane 1060 is an initiative of and with youth worker Ruben Vandersteen and the municipality of Sint-Gillis, and is supported by MUS-E Belgium VZW.
In 2017-2018 the Karavane landed on Morichardplein, Saint-Gilles. The square served as the workspace, the canvas, the source of inspiration. Together with the visitors, we chosed to work around the theme of TIME. Why do visitors choose to spend their time on this square? Can we prolong this or stop it? Do they spend their time talking or listening? Are they there for themselves or for others? ...
