CASA Viva (2017)
CASA Viva is a social project by “samenlevingsopbouw Brussel” and local service center “Forum”.
It’s a solitary, intergenerational and intercultural residential project for socially vulnerable people.
The community workers of CASA Viva asked to portray the intertwining between the future inhabitants. During 2017, in collaboration with illustrator Sam Bevernage, we encountered the families in their current living situation, all of them preparing for the big move. Sam’s sketches and my photographs form the the base layer for our collages, who attempt to show the (future) connectedness between the soon-to-be inhabitants of the 'Casa Viva'.
